In this vox pop for Barnet Tv I went to Burnt Oak and asked people their opinion on the second national lockdown. They were concerned about the measure but understood it was necessary.
Here I went out to North Finchley to look for new answers to my question were stronger views on the measure expressed by the people interviewed.Some loved to speak in front of the camera while others hesitated a bit until feeling comfortable.This was my third vox pop so I approached them with empathy and adapted myself when approaching the ones who were more reluctant to be interviewed.
In this particular vox pop I was in Colindale.I enjoyed this one because I was lucky enough to talk to a front line worker about what he has to say on the news of a second lockdown.
This was a short informational video done with Exposure. It was part of a series called "I'm inspired" aiming to offer a "glimpse" of information in each industry to young people. I talked to Richard Ferrer , the editor of Jewish News in Edgware about how to get into journalism. He shared his tips with me and what struck to me the most was that he recalled writing being his passion since he way young as well as having many diaries- which was what related to .
"Hope for a Home" is a short documentary that was awarded got "Silver" by Creative Conscience in 2018. These seven minutes it shares the stories of two young adults George and Ann, who were homeless before finding DEPAUL - a charity in London that fights against homelessness among young people. This was made as part of my Final major project unit in my third year of college. There are other projects done such as a two other dramas and short films that have been done and they can be seen here.
